Plant problems get lost in texts, shifts and memory. Plant Workroom is being built to keep each issue, decision and follow-up together for independent shops and small nurseries.

Needs manager decision

One report keeps the photo and count in view. The manager's decision and next check follow on the same case.

The everyday problem

A plant issue should not disappear between shifts.

A photo in a text thread cannot tell the next person which plants it shows, whether they are still for sale, or when to look again.

Someone spots it

The photo stays on one phone and the affected group is hard to find later.

Someone decides

The stock decision is discussed, but the action and responsible person are easy to lose.

Someone checks again

The next shift cannot tell whether the plants improved or what was done.

From finding to follow-up

A simple way to handle plant issues.

One case follows a plant group from the first observation to a recorded outcome. Healthy stock does not need to be cataloged first.

1

Spot

Staff take a photo or record why they cannot, choose the work area, and note roughly how many plants are affected.

2

Decide

A photo assessment may suggest a possibility or remain unclear. A manager reviews the evidence, records the stock decision, and assigns a next step.

3

Check again

The assigned person revisits the same group, adds a fresh observation, and the manager records what actually happened.

The case keeps the follow-up beside the original report.
Pothos plants on a nursery bench
One ordinary workday

Five pothos in a delivery of forty show yellowing leaves.

Maya reports what she sees at the receiving table. Alex, the manager, sees the same case with its photos and affected count. He decides whether to hold the group, inspect nearby plants or contact the supplier, then assigns Maya a recheck.

On her next visit, Maya adds a fresh observation. Alex closes the case only after the outcome is known. Everyone can follow the same history rather than piecing it together from messages.

Maya and Alex are illustrative roles. This is the intended workflow, still being tested before public release.

For the whole team

Different people. One shared understanding.

On the floor

Staff see what to report and check next.

Record an issue, see assigned work, and add the follow-up to the original case. A personal email can be used for an invitation; a company email is not required.

Making the call

Managers keep decisions visible.

Review uncertain results, decide whether to hold stock from sale, assign the next inspection, and record the final outcome.

Running the shop

Owners keep the work history together.

See the case trail across shifts and manage who can access the workspace. This is a focused plant issue workflow, not full inventory or point-of-sale software.
